At Creamed Colored Society, we are witnessing the emergence of a powerful movement, where women unite as catalysts for change. Our vision is rooted in fostering unity, bringing together women from diverse backgrounds, irrespective of their ethnic heritage.

Our Purpose:

Our mission is clear: to raise awareness where it is lacking, offer unwavering support, provide valuable resources, and equip individuals with the essential tools for continuous personal growth and lifelong success. Creamed Colored Society is a nurturing community where we collaborate, uplift one another, and contribute to the betterment of our global community.

Join us in our journey towards empowerment and transformation. Together, we can make a profound impact on the lives of women and society as a whole.

The Genesis of Our Sisterhood

Our Sisterhood’s journey began in 2007, conceived by a diverse group of women who proudly wear many hats and carry numerous titles, including Wife, Mother, Business Owner, Entrepreneur, Grandmother, and Sister, among others.

United by the belief that together, women can achieve more, we saw endless opportunities for women to come together, support one another, and grow stronger collectively. Creamed Colored Sisterhood (CCS) was born from this vision, driven by a shared commitment to help women, young ladies, and girls’ flourish.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to help individuals recognize their unique gifts and talents, enabling them to pursue their dreams and unlock their full potential. We aspire to create an environment that fosters learning and networking, ultimately improving the quality of life for women, young ladies, and girls worldwide through the power of Creamed Colored Sisterhood.

“Never underestimate the power of dreams, nor the influence of the human spirit. For we are all the same in this notion. The potential for greatness lives in each of us.” Those wise words, spoken by the late Wilma Rudolph

She is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a degree in Professional Business Management and a graduate from St. Thomas University with her Doctorate Degree in Christian Counseling.

Dr. Joy wants you to see her for who she truly is—a genuine person who has faced real-life challenges and trials, including transitions, rejection, domestic violence, divorce, rape, and molestation. Despite these daunting confrontations, she refused to allow them to define or deter her. Instead, she emerged from these experiences stronger and more determined than ever.

Her unwavering passion lies in helping people, particularly women, who may have constrained themselves due to their past, scars, or struggles. Dr. Joy firmly believes and often shares one of her favorite sayings: “My past does not define me, but it has shaped who I am today.” Her past serves as the pathway that led her to a profound desire to assist others navigating life’s challenges, often uncertain how to overcome their own adversities.

Dr. Joy is on a mission to empower individuals to unlock their hidden potential, conquer personal obstacles, and forge their unique paths to achieve remarkable levels of success.

She has a vision for entrepreneurs, offering a combination of marketplace insights, faith-based guidance, and inspiration. This vision serves as a doorway to help individuals attain their own version of success.
